Ian Fleming, the author, has managed to portray James Bond as a type gambler and a the most charming man in the gambling room, wherever he goes. Those charming capabilities combined with gambling, always wins him the best hands and a large amount of money. It is interesting to see how he does it. Sometimes people who see the movies are baffled by this, because the standard movie clichés is the leading role in the film to have everything going his way.
